The SAT and ACT curricula used at Tutoring Machines were methodically and ingeniously designed by Kimani Williams. After tutoring and teaching thousands of students, and continually increasing students’ scores for over a decade, he decided to profoundly and positively impact students from all over through education.
He designed test prep programs that are based not only on content, but also on strategies and techniques, which are readily understood and reproducible by students from many different backgrounds. The courses also take into consideration the demanding schedules of high school students by making the lessons short, effective, and fun.
Our Approach
Given that students come from many different educational backgrounds, it is imperative to first evaluate each student’s testing capabilities in order to recommend a path to success. A plan is then set in motion and is continually guided by a master navigator of test preparation. The goal is to engage our students and keep them motivated to the very end of the process.
Invest
We are genuinely invested in the success of our students. A student tends to be more motivated when the instructor cares about the student’s progress.
Evaluate
Evaluate which test a student should take. Detailed score reports that allow for a specific plan to be created for each student.
Engage
Engage students by continually interacting with the students, while alleviating the ‘stress’ of preparing for standardized tests.

Motivate students to do the homework and the practice tests, which are extremely vital to score improvement.
